Where is Elm Valley Farms?
811 N 35th St, Galesburg, Michigan 49053, in the countryside east of Kalamazoo. There is parking on site, so no shuttle and no overflow lot down the road.
How many guests can the barn hold?
Up to 150 seated. The main floor takes your whole guest list without splitting anyone into a second room, and the mezzanine adds space above for people to spread out.
Can we have the ceremony outside?
Yes. Ceremonies happen under the timber pergola with the pasture behind, or indoors on the grand staircase.
Is there somewhere to get ready?
Two suites, both on site. The bridal suite has a full run of lit vanity stations and hanging space. The groom's suite has leather seating, a fireplace, foosball and pool.
Do you plan in Spanish?
Yes. Julieth plans in English and Spanish, so every generation of your family can be part of the conversation. We have hosted quinceañeras and Spanish language weddings here.
Can guests meet the animals?
Yes, and most do. The pasture is just past the ceremony arbor. There are horses, alpacas, mini donkeys, goats, rabbits, baby doll sheep, peacocks, a miniature Jersey cow named Lola, and more. You can also arrange a farm visit without booking an event.
